Personal data

Personal data are all data that contain individual details about personal or factual circumstances, for example name, address, email address, telephone number, date of birth, age, gender, academic title, job function, photos or videos. We collect, process and/or use personal data only with consent or if there is another legal basis in accordance with the DSGVO, e.g. fulfilment of contract (Art 6 (1) (b) DSGVO) or legitimate interest (Art 6 (1) (f) DSGVO).

Data security

Personal data is protected by appropriate organisational and technical precautions. These precautions relate in particular to protection against unauthorised, illegal or even accidental access, processing, loss, use and manipulation.

Notwithstanding our efforts to maintain a high standard of due diligence, it cannot be ruled out that information disclosed to us via the Internet may be viewed and used by other persons. We therefore accept no liability whatsoever for the disclosure of information due to errors in data transmission not caused by us and/or unauthorised access by third parties (e.g. hacking of e-mail accounts or telephone, interception of faxes).

Groups of people

For our business activities and order processing, we process personal data of the following groups of persons:

  • Customers: In order to be able to advise our clients and fulfil contractually agreed services, we need the contact and account data of our business partners.

  • Suppliers: In order to be able to fulfil agreements concluded with suppliers, we require contact and account data from these business partners.

  • Journalists: In order to inform the media about current company and product topics as well as press events, we require contact details of media representatives for whom this information could be relevant.

  • Job applicants: If necessary, vacancies are published in print media or via online channels. Unsuitable application documents will be deleted immediately

  • Sweepstakes participants: We organise competitions on social media at irregular intervals. In order to send the prize, we need the contact details of the winner. If this data is no longer required, it will be deleted immediately.

Storage period

Any natural person whose personal data is processed will be provided with information on the storage period and deletion of the data upon request. Data will not be retained for longer than is necessary to fulfil our contractual or legal obligations.

As a matter of principle, after one month has elapsed since the purpose was achieved, it is checked whether the data is still needed and whether there is a legal obligation to retain the data that precludes deletion.

In this case, the data will be deleted after the expiry of the seventh year after the last invoice has been posted (obligation to retain data under tax law according to § 132 para 1 BAO and obligation to retain data under company law according to §§ 190, 212 UGB and obligation to retain data under turnover tax law according to § 18 para 2 3rd subparagraph). Documents of job applicants who are not hired will be deleted after six months unless otherwise agreed by the person concerned (claims for compensation due to discriminatory rejection of an application according to §§ 15 para 1 and 29 para 1 GlbG as well as § 7k para 1 in connection with para 2 Z 1 BEinstG).

Contact us

If you contact us using the form on the website or by e-mail, the data you provide will be stored by us for six months for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

Cookies

Our website may use so-called cookies in the future. These are small text files that are stored on your end device with the help of the browser. They do not cause any damage. Some cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. If you do not wish this, you can set up your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and you only allow this in individual cases.

Web analysis

In the future, our website could in principle use functions of Google Analytics (web analysis service of Google Inc.), as a result of which data on usage could also be transmitted to a non-European third country. In this case, we would conclude a corresponding contract for commissioned data processing with the provider. Cookies are used for this purpose, which enable an analysis of the use of the website by its users. The information thus generated is transferred to the provider's server and stored there.

Your IP address is recorded, but immediately pseudonymised (e.g. by deleting the last 8 bits). This means that only a rough localisation is possible. You can prevent this by setting up your browser so that no cookies are stored. The data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of § 96 para 3 TKG as well as Art 6 para 1 lit a (consent) and/or f (legitimate interest) of the DSGVO. Our concern in terms of the DSGVO (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our website. Since the privacy of our users is important to us, the user data is pseudonymised.

Third-party services and content

Some of our website also includes services and content from third-party providers, such as YouTube videos, maps from Google Maps, social plugins from Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest, etc., or references to these are made via links to third-party websites. The IP address of the respective user is required here in order to send and display the content of the third-party providers to the user's browser.

We try to only include content from third-party providers who only use the IP address to deliver the content. However, it is beyond our control if the third-party providers store the IP address, e.g. for statistical purposes.

Real Cookie Banner

We use the consent tool "Real Cookie Banner" to manage the cookies and similar technologies (tracking pixels, web beacons, etc.) used and the related consents. Details on how "Real Cookie Banner" works can be found at https://devowl.io/de/rcb/datenverarbeitung.

The legal basis for the processing of personal data in this context is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c DS-GVO and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DS-GVO. Our legitimate interest is the management of the cookies and similar technologies used and the related consents.

The provision of personal data is neither contractually required nor necessary for the conclusion of a contract. You are not obliged to provide the personal data. If you do not provide the personal data, we will not be able to manage your consents.

Your rights

You are generally entitled to the rights of information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or that your data protection rights have been violated in any other way, you can complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the data protection authority.
